Spend a relaxed, creative evening exploring botanical watercolour, working from a beautiful still life of foraged and seasonal flowers, grasses and foliage.
Whether you’re completely new to watercolour or simply fancy a creative evening out, this welcoming workshop is suitable for all abilities.
Emma will begin by introducing the subject matter and demonstrating a range of watercolour techniques to help you capture the shapes, colours and details of the flowers. You’ll then be guided through creating your own unique finished painting, with Emma on hand throughout to offer plenty of help, encouragement and individual support.
There’s no pressure to create an exact copy – you’ll be encouraged to experiment, find your own style and enjoy the process!
All materials are provided, along with a refreshing glass of sparkling Elderflower, so you can settle in, switch off and enjoy some time to create.
You’ll head home with your own frame-worthy botanical painting – and hopefully plenty of inspiration to keep exploring watercolour.
